Choosing an Interview Type
By default, when coming to the Interview page, it is set to in-person interview mode. To choose between One-way video and In-person interview creation, you will need to flip a switch. The switch is located in the right-hand box under the Interview heading. It is labeled as One Way Interview and turning it on will transition the interview you’re currently creating into a video interview.
In-Person Interview
This is the default view for the interview section. Below are the features of this interview type in order.
- Add Interview: The first option to the top right of the section is to Add Interview. By default, you have 1 active interview that you’ll be creating here. However, if you plan to have a multi-step interview process, then this feature will be of use. By choosing the button, a popup will appear to name your new interview and it will appear to the left on the same line once complete. You can then shift between the multiple interviews you’ve created to separately add questions to them.

To choose any of these questions, click on the name of the template to drop down the list and choose any questions you’d like to add to your interview using the black + icon to the right of each line. You can also choose the entire section by choosing the black + icon next to the heading of each template.
- Write Question: Choosing this option will populate an empty line inside the list of questions you’ve created. Simply click on the line and enter your question, then click elsewhere to set the question.
- Save as a New Template: If you’ve created a customized list of questions, you can use this feature to name & save the list for future use in a different Job Post.
- Rename: Change the displayed name of the interview. For in-person interviews, this is internal-only.
- Delete All Questions: If you’ve decided you want to start from the top, this will wipe out all questions in your current list.
- Edit Questions: To edit any question, click on the line the question is in. The line will create a box around the question to signify you’ve selected the correct one and you can type in the box as needed to make your edits. Click outside the box once complete to confirm the change.
- Drag-and-Drop Questions: To move the question order easily, use the hamburger icon located to the left of the numerical order indicator for each question. Holding that down, you can drag the question to a different part of the list.
